A couple of points on my daily setup environment...

Editor & Terminal

• JetBrains IDE's. I've been bought into the jetbrains ecosystem for most of my career. It keeps me super productive - currently WebStrom and RubyMine. Nord Theme
• I'm currently using Dank Mono font, with JetBrains Mono as a backup
• I use Ghostty terminal
• Claude Code - AI code assistant of choice
• To test API's I'll run Insomnia (previously used Postman)
• For looking up language/framework docs I pop open Dash first

Desktop Apps

• Arc browser - It's the browser all other browsers wish they were.
• BitWarden - password manager
• Raycast - app launcher
• Monodraw - ASCII art generator
• ON1 Photo RAW - Photo editing
• Rectangle - macOS window manager
• Transmit for file syncing/ftp
• Organizing notes in markdown with Logseq
• RunCat living in the menubar
• Horo Timer app for Menu Bar
• Tailscale VPN networking made easy
• Clean Shot X Better screenshots/screen recording
• logseq for all of my personal/professional notes

Self Hosting on Synology

• Miniflux is my current RSS reader
